InnoTrans Berlin 2024: the future of rail transport
This year’s edition of the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin proved that rail transport remains strong and is a key element in sustainable mobility. Among the modern trams and trains, solutions that have the potential to reshape urban and long-distance transportation stood out. Naturally, NG was there! We visited our clients, defined the scope of new projects, and established many new connections that will undoubtedly lead to future collaborations.
In an era of increasing pressure to decarbonize processes and products and protect the environment, rail transport fits perfectly into this trend. The solutions presented, ranging from multi-car trams and individual suburban train systems to high-speed long-distance trains, represent state-of-the-art technology in every aspect. Attention to detail, ergonomics, thoughtful functionality, color schemes, material selection, and lighting design all contribute to making rail transport an attractive alternative to car travel. The presentations of hydrogen-powered vehicle manufacturers, including Polish ones, were particularly significant – evidence that we are increasingly focusing on eco-friendly innovations in this industry.
NG Engineering Group has much to offer providing services to rail vehicle manufacturers. Specifically, in the areas of design optimization and innovation, the experience we have gained over the years on various projects has shown that we are a strong partner capable of quickly assembling interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Our meetings in Berlin will undoubtedly result in new projects, and we’ll be back for the next edition of the fair in two years with fresh ideas.
